  • Im in Love - 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid

I took delivery on my Fusion Hybrid Thursday and set out on a road trip on Saturday. I love everything about this car. You wont experience BMW type fun, but if you want a comfortable, poised and compliant ride with amazing gas mileage this is the car for you! I got 37.0 MPG on my first tank (105 miles city, 440 miles Interstate). I got 33.0 MPG on my all Interstate return trip. And I understand that I can expect better in warm weather. (I travelled on Feb. 9 - 10.) The interior is extremely comfortable and SYNC is cool beyond belief. Im so glad I didnt go for the Chevy just because of On-Star! SYNC out-performs On-Star. Everyone who saw admired the styling.

My first car bought in six years. Put a lot of research into it. Love this car. Black on black, tinted windows -- I get so many compliments on the exterior as well as the comfortable ride. Gas mileage is excellent. I do mostly in town driving so I average in the 30s; highway close to 40. First hybrid I have owned. I love it!!

Got the metallic green with tan interior which has received lots of compliments. Just went over 1K miles and had one issue with an engine light that came on to which there was no trouble found and it hasnt returned over the last 500 miles. Took a ride with an SEL V6 first and it had nice zip. Took out the hybrid right afterward though and it rode so much smoother. I had a V6 Honda 6 speed coupe prior to this car and dont miss it at all. Sync is flawless and the whole NAV display is way sharper. Am getting between 35-36 mpg with a fairly hilly terrain and maybe 60/40 highway/city driving. Would recommend this car to anyone. Its a real winner.

  • Mileage betters window sticker - 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid

I own a 2010 FFH, and it is exactly as advertised and gets better than sticker mileage, your mileage may vary as the owner’s manual states. I do get better mileage on the highway than I do in town. I live in a small town with limited stop lights and signs so I ‘m sure this is the reason for that. I have had a best open road mileage for a trip of 50.2 mpg figured with fill up to verify the computer figures they were within 5% of each other. The return trip netted 45.7 mpg. I drove the vehicle on its first drive from Dallas Texas where I purchased it to my town in Oklahoma and the first ever mileage from 300+ miles driven was 44.7 mpg this was highway driving at speeds 65-70 mph

  • Best Hybrid on the Market-Well done Ford - 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid

Never thought I would ever purchase another Ford after my 88 died on me (trans, eng problems). Settled on buying a Camry Hybrid. Researched it and the Ford Hyb kept coming up on reviews. Well, read on that too plus others. Was sold by ALL the publications that thought the Ford Hyb was better. Final decision was based on the design, style, options, drivability, etc of the Fusion Hyb. Very happy with the car. Fun to drive. Achieving 41+ MPG. A few trips, got 56 MPG, especially in 45 miles or less neighborhood driving. Trick is to gradually accelerate to just past the desired mileage, say 47, completely back off the accelerator, it goes to EV (electric). You can then maintain 45MPG.

  • Best car on the road (period) - 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid

This car can stand up nicely to any other luxury car on the road. I never thought Id be commenting on my cars user interface, but it is clear, engaging and easy to use. Very smooth driving and seamless transition from gas to electric. Even the Microsoft Sync system is great (and this is coming from a diehard Apple guy).

  • Delivers - A Ford this good? - 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid

Well, this IS a sweet car. I rides incredibly ... much like my past two Honda Accords. The GPS display is large, and the number of computerized features on this vehicles is staggering. It is HIGH TECH, really top end. I can voice control everything except the steering. My wife was predisposed against the FORD until she rode in/drove it. Im getting 39-50 mpg with a little hypermiling effort. Its a total winner ... IF ... it hold up and is reliable over time. Bottom line ... this is a GREAT car!

Unbelivable the car is just amazing! 502A package is worth the money. This is the car you just cant wait to drive again and again,it huggs the road like the best sports sedans in the world! Ford finally got rid of the green dash lights - this is new and fresh. I have bought Fords for the last 17 years because they where so reliable But now they changed the game , - This is pure excitement! You can have the chocolate without the calories! Thanks FORD. Great job.

  • Better than advertised/expected! - 2010 Ford Fusion Hybrid

Vehicle is entertaining and exciting to drive. Looks like a real car, not a Jetsons car (Prius)! Absolutely high tech with all the gizmos anyone would want. Performance on the road is remarkable for a 4-cylinder engine. Fuel mileage is terrific even when driven as a non-hybrid car. Gets lots of attention. Vehicle will run 70++++++ MPH all day long delivering gas mileage in the high 30s. Very comfortable seats. Just a terrific car. When America builds a car like this, why would anyone buy an import? Great job Ford.

Everything I hoped it would be. First 1500 miles. Great gas mileage 39.1 mixed hwy and city but 42 hwy. Great electronic pkg. Have 501A pkg. Decided against leather based on reviews very happy with cloth. Very roomy. Trunk space fine for my use. Ford has done a great job getting back in the game. Will see how it performs and maint. over time. Plenty of power when needed. Rides very nice. Would recommend.
